In July 2023, Meg McCauley established Oregon Psilocybin Facilitator Services. She's a licensed Psilocybin Facilitator, offering non-clinical assistance to those looking for alternatives to conventional approaches in dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. Meg's interest in psilocybin stems from a research-based belief in its potential for offering deep insights and spiritual growth, as well as aiding individuals dealing with life's toughest transitions.
With over thirty years of experience in hospice and end-of-life care, Meg has seen firsthand the impact of empathy, presence, and comprehensive support on individuals nearing the end of their lives. Her background has shaped her perspective, highlighting the importance of compassion, dignity, and personal empowerment.
Oregon's law provides for non-directive psilocybin services, ensuring licensed Facilitators refrain from guiding or psychoanalyzing Clients during altered states. Instead, Facilitators will focus on calming, comforting, and staying present throughout the session, intervening only if further support is requested. Meg is committed to leveraging her experience to provide non-directive, safe and supportive psilocybin services to Clients moving toward inner exploration, resilience and growth within the regulated framework of Oregon Psilocybin Services.
The three costs linked with psilocybin services—the Service Center fee, the psilocybin cost, and the Facilitator fee—are the responsibility of the Client.
Oregon Psilocybin Facilitator Services (OPFS) offers a free consultation to address any inquiries and evaluate the compatibility and suitability of the Client-Facilitator relationship. OPFS recognizes the importance of this relationship and places the Client's best interests at the forefront.
The fees for OPFS cover two 90-minute Preparation sessions, an Administration session, and one Integration session. The Facilitator fee ranges from $400 to $1200, depending on the size of the psilocybin dose, with larger doses requiring more time in the Service Center. Clients must stay at the Service Center until the effects of the psilocybin wear off and it's deemed safe for them to leave by both the Client and the Facilitator.
Acknowledging the diverse financial circumstances of clients, OPFS offers a flexible fee structure with a sliding scale option available to accommodate those with constrained financial resources.
As an Oregon native, Meg has grown up amidst the state's breathtaking natural beauty, shaping her deep connection to nature and providing daily moments of solace, inspiration, and wonder that continue to enrich her life on a daily basis.
